Entrepreneur in the field of education and training on human potential development, Iader Giraldi is what he called himself a human experience designer before being a rally rider. He has been into off-road since he was 12 years old, and he has always wanted to become a Dakar rider. He decided to compete in the Road to Dakar in 2021 alongside the Andalucia Rally to learn techniques of mindfulness and stress management to prove to the world that with the right preparation and the right tools all difficulties can be overcome. For this, he has also created a platform called Dealing with the Unexpected in which, he is telling his story around the Dakar.

IG: “24 months ago I decided to take one big dream, a child’s dream. I was 12 when I started to imagine my Dakar. I had this dream and I started to work this dream, to act this dream, to design this dream. All these actions were very important for me because I learned a lot. I increased my quality of life, my vision of the life. I think that now I’m a better man than two years ago. The first lesson for me was when the organization told me, you are in the Dakar in 2023! I was so happy. I started to tell all the people, my daughter, my wife, my parents, my workers, in all my social media that it’s very important. I’m so happy. I understand that we are amateurs. I’m an amateur. I’m an example for all the people that know me. I teach with volunteers that if you want, you can. If you work, you can. If you can, you have to do.”
