The Stanwood Camano Newspaper has once again missed the mark. The recent story about the "school district disputes" issue did nothing to lower the temperature and rhetoric at the school board meetings over the resignation of Dr. Rumbaugh.

I was appalled at the behavior displayed at the school board meeting on December 18th. The disrespect and incivility of many in attendance were so disgusting. President Schreiber requested several times that there be NO response to any comments, yet the appalling behavior continued. The behavior got so bad that the room had to be cleared.
